Can Jets make it four from four at Fortress Ausgrid and bring an end to Brisbane's unbeaten run?

Games don't come much more mouthwatering than the one that takes place in Newcastle on Saturday. It's Jets, who have won every game they have played at Ausgrid Stadium this season, against top-of-the-ladder Brisbane Roar, who are undefeated in 34 matches.

As these two unbeaten records clash, something has to give! Will Newcastle finally be the team to end the Champions' incredible run, or will Roar bring the pain to New South Wales? Get a ticket to this enticing battle and see for yourself!

Jets will be hoping that a return home will also bring about a return to winning ways, after last week they fell to a sorry 3-0 loss to Melbourne Heart.

Having defended stoutly for over an hour, the visitors then fell apart spectacularly. Indeed, they were the makers of their own misery. At 1-0 behind but still very much in the match, Tarek Elrich's wayward back-pass fell straight into the path of Mate Dugandzic who put the result beyond doubt.

Gary van Egmond will be instilling into his players the need to cut out such costly errors this weekend. If there is one team that does not need a helping hand, it is Brisbane Roar.

Roar though, are experiencing - by their standards anyway - something of a mini slump at the moment. After disappointingly not being able to take advantage of having a two-man advantage in Melbourne a fortnight ago, the Champions also failed to overcome Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.

However, their display certainly deserved the victory. After Besart Berisha's seventh of the season, Roar created another twenty or so chances. They hit the bar and had efforts cleared off the line, yet couldn't find the decisive goal after Tim Brown's shock equaliser.

The Jets certainly need to be wary, if Brisbane create as many chances this weekend, they'll be incredible unlucky not to score more than once this time round.

While the head-to-head between the sides is very evenly balanced, the strange thing is that the away sides nearly always come out on top in these clashes.

Of Newcastle's seven wins against Brisbane, only one of them has come in New South Wales, while five of Brisbane's six triumphs have been away from home. Last season, all three meetings ended in draws.

Jets are really turning Ausgrid Stadium into a fortress this season, but they face their biggest test yet on Saturday. Squadron, your support will be more important than ever if your players are to maintain their 100 percent home record.

So get yourself a ticket today and get ready to see these two fine sides do battle. One of these clubs' proud records is set to come to an end. Help ensure that it's the opposition's!
