Hyundai A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers defeated Canberra FC 3-0 in a friendly with new Italian marquee striker Federico Piovaccari on the scoresheet on his debut in the national capital.
Wanderers’ marquee forward bagged his club's second goal of the night in the 40th minute at Deakin Stadium in Canberra.

With the score at 2-0 by the break, it was 3-0 not long after. Lethal striker Brendon Santalab capping the win for the A-League powerhouse by scoring seconds after coming on in the 65th minute following good lead up play from Sotirio.
Wanderers play in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 next Tuesday night where they will face Palm Beach Sharks at Cbus Stadium on the Gold Coast.
