Western Sydney will be without Andreu Mayoral for approximately four weeks after the Spaniard suffered a knee injury in a 1-0 Westfield FFA Cup win over Brisbane Roar on Tuesday.
Golgol Mebrahtu struck in the 69th minute at Parramatta Stadium to book the Wanderers a place in the round of 16.
Mayoral will miss their next match away to Palm Beach Sharks though, having suffered a medial ligament strain in the clash with John Aloisi's team.

The result of scans undergone by the former Racing Santander man have come as some relief to head coach Tony Popovic.
"We're happy he hasn't suffered something more severe, and there's nothing we can do," Popovic was quoted as saying by News Corp.
"Already it feels a touch better to him than it did the day before so that's promising. If it is just four weeks, then he might be ok for the start of the season."
Western Sydney's Hyundai A-League campaign begins at home to the Roar on October 8.
