Who can forget the spectacular bicycle kick and the cheekiest penalty ever which brought flamboyant Frenchman Eric Bautheac Goal of the Round honours on two occasions?

Adelaide’s chief tormentor Craig Goodwin returned to the City of Churches with a bang, leading the Hyundai A-League in assists with nine, and top scoring for the Reds with 10.

Milos Ninkovic capped another outstanding season in Sky Blue by taking out the Joe Marston Medal in the Grand Final, while young Aussie Riley McGree sparkled as Melbourne City’s most dangerous goal threat, scoring some stunners along the way.

Max Burgess and Joel Chianese had breakout campaigns for Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory respectively, playing key supporting roles as their teams delivered campaigns to remember.
