Scott Galloway (Adelaide United)

Round 1 v Sydney FC

The new season started in stellar style thanks to Scott Galloway's delightful long-distance chip of an unsuspecting Andrew Redmayne.

Riley McGree (Melbourne City)

Round 1 v Melbourne Victory

Off the bench and straight into the action, Riley McGree scored with his first touch to cap off a flowing a team move.

Dimitri Petratos (Newcastle Jets)

Round 1 v Wellington Phoenix

Newcastle Jets suffered defeat in their season opener, but there was a silver lining in Dimitri Petratos' rasping first-time finish at the end of a lightning counter-attack.

Connor Pain (Central Coast Mariners)

Round 1 v Brisbane Roar

An in-form Connor Pain helped Central Coast Mariners to a point at Suncorp Stadium with a solo run and handy left-footed finish.

Craig Goodwin (Adelaide United)

Round 2 v Newcastle Jets

Craig Goodwin has shown he can do it all in the early part of the campaign, his perfectly judged header from Michael Marrone's cross in Round 2 just another example of the winger's scoring prowess.

Terry Antonis (Melbourne Victory)

Round 2 v Perth Glory

Terry Antonis has been in good scoring touch to date, locating his radar against Perth Glory with a low drive in off the post off his unfavoured left foot.
