Round 6 v Western Sydney Wanderers
Victory’s Japanese star was expertly teed up by Terry Antonis before his pin-point header opened the scoring against the visiting Wanderers.
Luke Brattan (Melbourne City)
Round 6 v Newcastle Jets
With seconds ticking down to half-time Brattan collected a cross outside the box before unleashing an unstoppable volley to send the City crowd into raptures.
Steven Taylor (Wellington Phoenix)
Round 7 v Sydney FC
With the Nix holding a shock 2-0 lead heading towards half-time Sydney would have been hoping to recuperate only for Wellington’s burly English defender to attach his head to a long ball and send the visitors up by three.
Ola Toivonen (Melbourne Victory)
Round 8 v Brisbane Roar
In one of the most exciting Hyundai A-League games this season Victory’s big Swede was picked out by Corey Brown before lethally dispatching the ball into the top left corner on a tight angle.
David Williams (Wellington Phoenix)
Round 9 v Brisbane Roar
David Williams reminded us all of what he is capable off with a brilliant curling effort to send the Phoenix into the lead against the visiting Roar.
