Tom Doyle has left Wellington Phoenix, the club confirmed on Monday.
On the same day the Kiwi outfit secured the signing of Caltex Socceroos defender Luke De Vere, Doyle has been released following the conclusion of his contract.
The New Zealand international, 26, made 83 appearances for Wellington after signing for the club in 2014.
He made his debut in Phoenix's inaugural FFA Cup clash in August of that year, a 1-0 loss to eventual winners Adelaide United.
In the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season, Doyle made 15 appearances under former boss Mark Rudan, starting in 13 of those matches.
New coach Ufuk Talay has made four signings since taking the reins from now-Western United coach Rudan, but there have also been key departures.
Doyle joins the likes of experienced defender Andrew Durante, and star strikers Roy Krishna and David Williams as players who have left the New Zealanders.
