Sydney FC has granted an early release for winger Andrew Hoole to allow the 22-year-old to pursue another opportunity.
Hoole had one year remaining on his contract at the Sky Blues but the young flyer and the club mutually agreed to cut-short his deal.
In his first season at the club in 2015/16, Hoole made a total of 15 appearances in the Hyundai A-League, making six starts.
While he never scored a goal for the Sky Blues, Hoole had two assists for the season and 12 successful dribbles.
He also featured in six of Sydney's eight games in the AFC Champions League.
There has been speculation Hoole could make a return to hometown club the Newcastle Jets for next season.
