Transfer news: City defender bound for Korea

Melbourne City have confirmed that defender Connor Chapman has completed a transfer to K-League outfit Incheon United FC, for an undisclosed fee.

Chapman, 22, departs after featuring for the senior men’s team on 35 occasions across the past three Hyundai A-League seasons.

The central-defender joined the Club in May 2014 on a two-year contract, before signing a contract extension in January 2016.

Chapman made just five appearances for City throughout the 2016/17 campaign, four as a starter.
