Besart Berisha $443k
The Victory talisman is sure to be among the goals again having left fellow strikers in his wake in the fantasy stakes last season. Berisha averaged 5.8 points a match in 2014/15 and will no doubt be a prime candidate for the captain’s armband for many Fantasy sides throughout the campaign.
Jamie Maclaren $325k
Roar’s new signing has been in prolific form throughout the pre-season and will be one coach John Aloisi will be counting on much like astute Fantasy managers. Maclaren scored most of his goals off the bench last season but is a certain starter this time around.
Roy Krishna $347k
Given the absence of last season’s Johnny Warren Medalist Nathan Burns, a lot will fall to the Fijian in front of goal for the Phoenix. Krishna has the potential to score big points given the added responsibility and could prove to be Wellington’s regular penalty taker after they struggled from the spot last season.
Bruno Fornaroli $300k
Fornaroli headlined a massive recruitment drive from Melbourne City in the off-season and the Uruguayan seems to have settled in well at his new club. El Tuna notched a brace in the Westfield FFA Cup quarter-finals and has been a regular contributor on the score sheet throughout pre-season.
Filip Holosko $350k
The Slovak international is charged with filling the void left by last season’s Golden Boot Marc Janko up front for the Sky Blues. He’s already scored a cracker in pre-season and his new teammates have been raving about his talents so he could be worth a start if you want a point of difference in your side.
