Sydney-Glory moved to Parramatta

Parramatta Stadium will host another Hyundai A-League fixture when Sydney FC welcome Perth Glory to the venue on November 21.

The 3pm kick-off in Sydney's west will allow for returfing to take place at the Sydney Football Stadium as no football will be played at the venue over a 22-day period from November 8 until December 1.

The returfing had been planned for early October but that was scrapped when it was announced that the SFS would host an international friendly between Australia and Paraguay on October 9.

"It is not ideal to move away from your home stadium during the season however we have an outstanding relationship with Parramatta Stadium," Sydney FC CEO Edwin Lugt said.

"The facilities there are fantastic and the pitch is world class. Having a quality pitch is an integral component to any successful football club so the returfing is essential. From December 1 we still have six games at the SFS and we need the pitch to be in prime condition."

"There has been extensive use of the SFS pitch recently so it-s crucial the returfing occurs."

Lugt said the club were looking forward to travelling back to Parramatta Stadium, where they defeated the Glory 3-2 last season.

"We are looking forward to playing in the heart of Western Sydney again. We received great support from the local community in February so we encourage them to again come out and see the current A-League Champions play as well as a Perth side that contains Robbie Fowler."
