Sydney FC v Brisbane Roar Saturday 30th October 5:15pm

Double the action, double the value! Sydney Football Stadium hosts two games for the price of one on Saturday. It-s the bargain of the season!

It was a long, long time coming but victory tasted so sweet last Sunday. To be honest, such is the talent in the Sydney dressing room, it was inevitable that someone was going to get a thrashing soon enough, and so it proved at nib Stadium.

Following the humiliating loss in Melbourne, the 3-0 win was just the kind of reaction that Sky Blues fans were looking for in what has been a tough season to watch from the stands. Now it-s time to build on that fantastic away win and really push on up the table, starting this Saturday afternoon, when Sydney Football Stadium plays host to back-to-back matches for the first time ever in the Hyundai A-League.

This double-header will allow fans of four clubs to get involved in two fantastic Hyundai A-League matches for the price of one. First up, at 5:15pm, the Sky Blues take on high-flying Brisbane Roar before neighbours Central Coast Mariners battle Robbie Fowler-s Perth Glory at 7:30pm. That-s three hours of A-League football for the price of 90 minutes!

Vitezslav Lavicka-s men will take to the field with a newfound sense of self-belief and they-re sure to be roared on by a buzzing Sydney Cove. Though the team has struggled in the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season, Sydney-s Sky Blue Army has been in irrepressible voice, so, with morale sent skyward by Sunday-s awesome display, the atmosphere that The Cove produces on Saturday promises to be something really special.

Their season has finally started and what better way to both celebrate and ensure things continue to improve than by singing your side to its second victory in a row? Once the team gets on a run, who knows how far up the ladder they can climb? So it-s up to Sydney-s fans to turn up in their thousands and help keep the momentum going.

If their team play anything like they did against Perth, they-ll stand a chance against Roar. After all, you can-t ask for much more than a defensively solid performance coupled with goalscoring turns from your frontmen.

Their opponents hit the road having sustained their assault on the top end of the ladder over an especially fruitful eight-day period at Suncorp Stadium. Following a faintly disappointing draw with Newcastle and a comfortable win over Central Coast Mariners, Roar overcame a tough Melbourne Victory side thanks to a 77th minute goal from Costa Rican striker Jean Carlos Solórzano - his first in the Hyundai A-League.

All of which means that Roar collected an impressive seven points from a possible nine and, in dong so, extended their unbeaten run at home to eight games.

While their undefeated home record has been instrumental in their fine first third of the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season, Ange Postecoglou -s side aren-t bad on the road either.

They have lost just once away from home and will travel to the ladder-s bottom side feeling positive about their chances of heading home with three points. Indeed, Roar have already beaten this week-s opponents once this season. Their 1-0 win in Week 3 was the kind of result that has been the cornerstone of their campaign.

Sydney Cove, your side has already been beaten by Brisbane once this season, so get behind the lads and ensure that the outcome is different on Saturday. It-s a football feast at Sydney Football Stadium, so - before you watch Fowler-s Glory tackle the Mariners - get passionate, get involved and get ready to sing your side to three huge points against one of the top teams in the Hyundai A-League.

With fans from three other sides coming through the turnstiles of your football stadium on Saturday, it-s up to you to show them just how intense and noisy Sydney FC-s support is. Sydney Cove, send them home with your songs ringing in their ears!
