Veteran Newcastle Jets keeper Glen Moss has announced his retirement from international football with New Zealand.
The 35-year-old has called an end to his 11-year career with the All Whites, which has seen him make 29 appearances since his debut in 2006.
He was a part of the recent squad that went down to Peru in the playoffs for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
But with no guarantee he would get through another four-year World Cup cycle, Moss decided to bring the curtain down on his international career.
Moss has made nine starts for Ernie Merrick’s Newcastle Jets in the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season, keeping three clean sheets.
He is contracted to the Jets until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
