Mariners Coach Phil Moss has announced a free ticket offer for tonight's crucial clash against reigning Champions Brisbane Roar.
Harvey Norman Friday night football returns to Central Coast Stadium tonight for a 7:40pm kick off and Moss is hoping that the Mariners fans and members will pack the stands with yellow and navy to help get his charges across the line.
Moss noted the importance of a big crowd tonight and placed his stake in the ground with an extra incentive that will allow fans to make the most of a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer for tonight’s match (see details below).
“It’s a huge match for our season, the team need the support in the stands and I’ve asked the club to reward anyone who pre-purchases their ticket online between now and game time with a FREE TICKET to bring a friend along and help steer the boys home.
“We need a big crowd tonight, we need a great atmosphere. Even though it was small last week the crowd along with the brass band did a great job again and it really helps the boys on the pitch,” Moss said.
The ticketing incentive will allow any person who pre-purchases their ticket online to enter a unique code to claim the buy-one-get-one-free offer by simply entering the code “fridayfreebie” on the Ticketek website.
The buy-one-get-one-free offer is the perfect chance to team up with a mate and be there tonight for a clash between two teams who have been the most successful competitors of the Hyundai A-League in its modern era.
A win will see the Central Coast Mariners sit level with Brisbane Roar off the back of their come-from-behind triumph over the second placed Adelaide United.
“Brisbane are the reigning Champions which presents a great challenge and it’s always a great match when we come up against them. We’ve built a fantastic rivalry over the past five years and I’m really looking forward to the game.
“It’s a night game which is a rarity at Central Coast Stadium so we don’t have to deal with the sun and the heat and it should be a fantastic atmosphere,” Moss said.
The Mariners’ boss alluded to the importance of tonight's match and how important it is for his side to piece together back to back wins
“This is the type of game that can help shape our season, it’s all on the line tonight and we will go into the match with a huge confidence boost from last week's result,” Moss said.
