A survey taken by Hyundai A-League players has revealed Melbourne's Etihad stadium is best for atmosphere and pitch quality so far this season.
A regular survey by Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) has revealed a small rise in the quality of surfaces up to Round 15 this season compared to 2014/15.
The stadium where the pitch has improved the most is Hunter Stadium in Newcastle.
The Jets home ground surface was completely re-turfed over a year ago ahead of the 2015 Asian Cup.
Other stadiums, such as Wanderers' home ground, Suncorp in Brisbane and Wellington's Westpac have also improved their surfaces since last season, revealed the survey.
But Etihad topped the ratings for both atmosphere and pitch quality with 4.17 out of 5 for the surface and 4.5 out of 5 for atmosphere for this season.
