“It’s been a good first two weeks for my family and I," Lopez told Brisbane Roar's official website.

"We love the city, the club and the people,” Lopez said following training this morning.

"I’m very happy here.”

Lopez was the final piece of the puzzle for John Aloisi’s squad ahead of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season, which gets underway in just over a week.

The neat box-to-box midfielder, known for his tidy distribution, creativity as well as his ability to find the back of the net, is a welcome addition to an already talented Roar squad.

Lopez says been welcomed to the playing group with open arms, and the ability to communicate with John Aloisi, who also speaks Spanish, in his native tongue has eased the transition.

“I have fitted in well with my new teammates - they’re good guys and I think we have a talented group - I enjoy being on the pitch with them,” Lopez continued.

“I’m really excited for Round 1 - the pre-season is very long and the team want to start well and we have a good feeling about this season."
