Signings news: They’re back! Keogh, Wilson return to Glory

Perth Glory’s attack is shaping as one of the fiercest in the A-League after the confirmation that Andy Keogh is back for a third stint with the club.

Glory announced Keogh’s signing on Monday, alongside midfielder Brandon Wilson who also returns to Perth after a short spell away.

But it’s the return of Keogh that will have Glory fans salivating, as he joins a squad that already includes Bruno Fornaroli, Diego Castro, Chris Ikonomidis and Nick D’Agostino.

Keogh, who will become an Australian citizen next month, has made 122 appearances for Glory and is the club’s leading scorer with 55 goals.

"I really want to help the people I care about to move the club forward," Keogh said on Glory’s official website.

"I’m an experienced player and I’m confident that I can contribute both in terms of helping the team and also assisting the young players that we have with their development.

"This is about helping a club that I care about and I’m looking forward to what I’m sure will be a successful season."

Wilson, who is a Perth local, spent the second half of last season with Wellington Phoenix but jumped at the chance to return to Glory.

"I always had a great relationship with the Glory Members and fans,” the 23-year-old midfielder said.

“I’m really looking forward to getting out there and representing them once again.

"I grew up watching the team play from The Shed and always wanted to be a Perth Glory player, so it’s fantastic to have that opportunity to play for my home club again and I can’t wait for the season to begin."
