Hyundai Ins and Outs - Round 4

A potential Hyundai A-League gun is set for a Western Sydney Wanderers debut, while a rising Sydney FC star returns after a year-long absence.

Out of all of 11 Hyundai A-League clubs' off-season recruits, Nicolai Müller’s resume is up there with the best of them.

Following the crushing news that Wanderers marquee playmaker Radosław Majewski was facing a prolonged spell on the sidelines, head coach Markus Babbel dug deep into his Bundesliga contacts book and snagged the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt man Müller.

The 32-year-old attacker has played German top flight football for the past 10 seasons and is set to make his Hyundai A-League bow from the bench when Western Sydney take on Robbie Fowler’s Brisbane Roar at Bankwest Stadium on Saturday.

From a newcomer to a long-awaited comeback, Sydney’s FC starlet Trent Buhagiar was last seen shredding the Wanderers in a 3-0 FFA Cup Semi Final victory at Leichhardt Oval in October 2018.

The 21-year-old speedster didn’t even get to kick a ball in the Hyundai A-League Season 2018/19 after tearing his ACL in a training match four days before the season opener.

It has been a long road to recovery for the Australia U-23 international, who will be desperate to run out in a football match again for the first time in 392 days.

Read on for all the important team news for every match this weekend.
