More eye-catching displays to consider, so who made the team of the week?
Jack Duncan (Jets)
Outstanding from Duncan who made at least three top-class saves - his second from Berisha the best. Man of the match against Victory on Saturday.
Raul Llorente (WSW)
The Spaniard was superb, and his cross into Riera for Wanderers' second was all class. A great acquisition for the club.
Alex Wilkinson (Sydney FC)
Another solid display from the Caltex Socceroo, who remains one of the best central defenders in the league after the big win over Phoenix on Friday night.
Nigel Boogaard (Jets)
Got the scoring going with a neat glancing header against Victory and proved his mettle down back with another courageous performance. The skipper's goal was his first since October last year and just his seventh in 211 appearances.
Ben Kantarovski (Jets)
Is he the best screener in the league? "Kanta" put in another dominating display in the Jets' 2-0 win over Victory.
Jordan O'Doherty (Reds)
Like Nik Mileusnic, the young Reds midfielder was full of energy and purpose in Adelaide's win over Glory on Saturday.
Marcelo Carrusca (WSW)
He looks comfortable working with Josep Gombau again. Is he the creative key that's been missing from the Wanderers this season? He was excellent on Sunday in the 2-1 win over Mariners.
Kosta Barbarouses (Melbourne Victory)
The Kiwi winger was in fine form and won a fascinating battle with Lachy Jackson, but just couldn't find a way past Jack Duncan in the Jets goal.
Daniel Arzani (City)
Again was one of the key attacking weapons for City on Sunday. His assist for Budzinski's equaliser was absolute quality. The youngster just gets better and better.
Alex Brosque (Sydney FC)
A poacher's goal, a super assist with a cheeky back-heel but it was the 34-year-old's all-round performance, work-rate and speed that caught the eye in Sydney's 4-0 thrashing of Phoenix. With Bert van Marwijk watching on, who's to say Brosquey isn't going to be in the mix for Russia after this masterclass?
Marcin Budzinski (City)
A goal and a deft assist for the winner. The Polish marquee lead the line on Sunday with style, and looks cherry ripe to step up in the absence of Ross McCormack, who has returned to Aston Villa.
MANAGER OF THE ROUND
Ernie Merrick (Jets)
It got a bit frosty with Kevin Muscat before the game, but Ernie wouldn't have minded after he masterminded another precious three points for the Jets, who are set to return to the finals under their experienced coach.
