2005/06 Perth Glory and Wollongong football legend Matthew Horsley retired after a stellar career as the Glory drew 2-2 with Central Coast Mariners in Round 15, 2005/06.

2006/07 Melbourne moved to an astounding 13 point lead at the top of the ladder after Round 15, 2006/07 following a drama-filled 3-1 defeat of Adelaide United at Hindmarsh Stadium.

2007/08 Round 15, 2007/08 included perhaps the most event-filled Hyundai A-League match to date as Sydney defeated Central Coast 5-4, a sending-off and match-winning goal both deep in injury time capping off a tremendous spectacle at Bluetongue Stadium.
