Hyundai A-League Performers of the Week: Round 15

Who starred for their respective teams in Round 15? We’ve crunched the Opta Data to pick out the best performing players across the league. 

Based on a range of metrics provided by the Hyundai A-League’s official data provider, here’s the standout players from the competition's mid-week round. 


Glen Moss (Jets) - Made four saves, 23 passes and finished with a clean sheet in Newcastle's win over the Mariners.

Michael Zullo (Sydney FC) - Made a round-high two blocks plus three clearances as Sydney disposed of the Roar. 

Michael Jakobsen (City) - Made a game-high five clearances, as well as 57 passes (91% accuracy) and six contested duels in City's win over Glory. 

Jordy Buijs (Sydney FC) - Finished with a passing accuracy of 92%, the best of any player to make at least 50 passes.

Harrison Delbridge (City) - Solid at the back and made 62 passes with an accuracy of 81%, the joint-most of any City player.

Michael Jakobsen was excellent for City.



Pato Rodriguez (Jets) - An eye-catching debut off the bench. Made nine passes into the final third, the second-most of any Jets player and scored a goal with his lone shot.

Luke Brattan (City) - Made five tackles, the joint-third-most of any player and 58 passes with an accuracy of 91%.

Adrian Mierzejewski (Sydney FC) - Won a joint-round-high five fouls, scored a goal and created two scoring chances.

Matt Ridenton (Phoenix) - Created a round-high eight scoring chances in Phoenix's win over Victory, twice as many as any other player.

Ross McCormack (City) - Bagged two goals from as many shots and finished with a passing accuracy of 85% (from 27 passes).

Bobo (Sydney FC) - Had three shots at goal, two on target and found the back of the net for his 15th goal of the season.
