The match serves as an FFA Cup 2018 Final dress rehearsal and the first league match in charge for new Sky Blues boss Steve Corica, with potential Hyundai A-League debuts for Siem de Jong and Adam Le Fondre also in the pipeline.
Sydney’s dominance in recent years has set the bar sky-high for Corica, but can Adelaide steal the show and issue a statement of their own?

Perth Glory v Western Sydney Wanderers

The final match of Round 1 promises to be a thriller, as Tony Popovic kicks off his Perth Glory reign against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Popovic led the Wanderers to Premiership glory in their inaugural season and has lured Red and Black legend Brendon Santalab to Western Australia to turn Glory into title fighters.
