Maclaren helped City to the Premiership/Championship double last season, winning the league's Golden Boot for the second time running with an impressive haul of 25 goals. Maclaren ended the season with 11 more goals on the board than Macarthur FC's Matt Derbyshire, who finished second on the Golden Boot standings with 14.
A contract extension in June 2021 ensures Maclaren is committed to City to the end of the 2023/24 A-League season. The 28-year-old will set further individual and team accolades in his sights as his extended City stay unfolds.
Chris Ikonomidis (overall: 72)
Chris Ikonomidis arrives at Melbourne Victory with an overall FIFA 22 rating of 72, reuniting with former head coach Tony Popovic for another A-League campaign.
