Hankook partners Hyundai A-League

Hankook Tyre Australia has today announced a partnership with Football Federation Australia’s Hyundai A-League competition.

Hankook Tyre Australia has today announced a partnership with Football Federation Australia-s Hyundai A-League competition, forming a strong alliance between the FFA and one of the world-s fastest-growing tyre-makers.

With an aggregate attendance of more than 10 million spectators over eight seasons, the Hyundai A-League has established itself as a prominent and growing part of Australian sporting culture.

“Hankook has an increasing presence in Australian motoring and motorsport,” said Hankook Tyre Australia Managing Director Paul Park. “And away from the conventional motoring associations, we have seen the opportunity to partner with the Hyundai A-League as a symbiotic relationship and a perfect fit. The Hyundai A-League is a relatively new brand with an honest reputation, exhibits strong growth, it magnetises an expanding fan base and exhibits a family atmosphere - attributes shared by both organisations.

Mr Park also elaborated how the Hyundai A-League is the correct fit; “Naturally we are very pleased to partner with the Hyundai A-League, but Hankook is also extremely enthused to be part of a faction with assertive aspirations. David Gallop has openly described his goal of having football as the number one sporting code in Australia. That-s very fitting as our goal is for Hankook to be the number one brand in Australia.”

Mr Park added: “With the FIFA World CupTM in 2014, and Australia hosting the Asian Cup in 2015, this is an exciting time for the sport. Football is a code that Hankook Tyre is proud to be partnered with through our sponsorship of the Hyundai A-League.”

Hankook Tyre Australia-s branding will include static billboards, animated and active LED billboards and region- and sale-specific promotion.
