Ex-Perth Glory midfielder Rostyn Griffiths has secured his desired move to Europe, joining newly-promoted Eredivisie club Roda JC.
The 27-year-old inked a two-year deal with the Dutch side.
After a strong season with Glory, Griffiths was given a release from the club in the hope of resuming his career abroad.
While it was expected he would return to Asia where he had played in China previously, Roda JC came calling and the tough-tackling midfielder had no hesitation putting pen to paper.
He joins Socceroos defender Trent Sainsbury as Aussies playing in the Eredivisie.
Roda also has a strong tradition of Australian players with Sydney FC boss Graham Arnold, former Socceroos goal-keeper Zeljko Kalac and Gary van Egmond all having spent time at the club.
