Grand Final hero departs Reds

Adelaide United have announced striker Pablo Sánchez, who helped seal the club's maiden Championship triumph with a goal off the bench, will depart the club after two years of service.

After joining Adelaide United in 2014, Pablo Sánchez spent two successful seasons with the Reds, winning three trophies and playing a significant role in each piece of silverware the Club claimed.

The Spaniard played 57 matches for United, scoring 19 goals. In the 2015/16 season he equalled the most goals scored as a substitute in one Hyundai A-League season with seven.

“This season just passed was fantastic as well for how we came back from a slow start and then we won the Premiership and the Championship.
