Perth Glory are pondering who'll replace suspended keeper Liam Reddy this Saturday with club skipper Rostyn Griffiths stressing it's an opportunity for one of the club's two other keepers to step up.
Last week's red card to "Rocket" Reddy in Gosford paved the way for 24-year-old Nick Feely to make his Hyundai A-League debut off the bench in the final few minutes of their loss to Central Coast.
And this week, Glory's other keeper Jordan Thurtell was also in Gosford aiming to impress Josep Gombau in an Australian U-23 training camp.
Both are talented, but who'll get the nod?
“Rocket's [Liam Reddy] had a great season but like anyone this is a good chance for someone else to step up and fill his place,” Griffiths told reporters earlier this week.
“Obviously we're disappointed with the decision and it's something we're going to have to deal with.
“Newcastle at home we've normally done well against but I said that last time and we got beat.
“But it's another chance to rectify what happened last week.”
