The venue and other details are yet to be released, although the match will kick-off at 7:30pm AEST.

The club officially began pre-season training earlier this month under inaugural boss Mark Rudan.

It’s been a whirlwind period for United, who so far have 20 players on their books following the acquisition of Italian star Alessandro Diamanti last week.

As well as the match against Caroline Springs George Cross FC, Football Director Steve Horvat told a-league.com.au last month the squad will embark on a pre-season tour in coming weeks.
