Brisbane Roar v Melbourne Victory: match preview

Robbie Fowler takes charge of his first home match as Brisbane Roar prepare for the visit of Melbourne Victory on Friday night.

The former Premier League legend secured a very credible 1-1 draw away to reigning Hyundai A-League Premiers Perth Glory in Round 1, and Roar enjoyed the bye in Round 2.

Fowler will definitely be sending his charges out to attack a Victory team reeling from a 2-1 defeat to Western Sydney Wanderers last time out.

That home defeat left Marco Kurz still waiting for his first win at the helm of Victory, who have not scored from open play yet this season.
