Bonevacia brilliance inspires Phoenix to win over Reds

A brace from Roly Bonevacia has inspired Wellington Phoenix to an entertaining come-from-behind 4-2 win over Adelaide United at Westpac Stadium on Friday night.

In a frenetic opening, Reds winger Craig Goodwin netted in just the third minute before Roy Krishna equalised for the hosts less than 60 seconds later.

Bonevacia netted in the 22nd and 51st minute to put the Phoenix in control before substitute Matthew Ridenton iced the game with a tidy finish with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Pablo Sanchez netted a consolation goal for Adelaide in the 89th minute.
